Warehouse Manager

As a Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse which may include, but not limited to, shipping and receiving, purchasing, product delivery, budgeting, inventory control, warehouse safety, housekeeping, supervision of warehouse staff.

• Monday - Friday, 1:00 pm - 10:00 pm

• Expected rate of pay: $67,000 - $69,000 annually.

• Responsible for the overall direction, coordination of training, and evaluation of warehouse employees including: interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Develop and implement improved methods of materials handling, stock control and packaging to promote efficiency, service, and reduced costs.

• High school diploma or GED; 3‑5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification.
• Product and application knowledge; electrical product materials handling experience; background in wholesale electrical distribution strongly recommended.

Often standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and stooping. Occasional sitting, talking/hearing. Hands/fingers often needed.

Lifting and Carrying

• Continuous lifting and carrying 1‑20 lbs.
• Frequent lifting and carrying 21‑50 lbs.
• Occasional lifting and carrying 51‑100 lbs. (Assistance advised.)

Vision Requirements for Driving Equipment and Company Vehicles

• Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less).
• Distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more).
• Peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point).
• Depth perception (three‑dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships).
