Equipment Operator III

Xpedient Logistics is seeking an experienced Equipment Operator III to support our high-volume, third-party logistics warehouse in Houston. In this role, you will safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and move freight across our facility. You'll handle inbound and outbound shipments, support inventory accuracy using RF scanners and warehouse systems, and help stage, wrap, and secure pallets for regional and national distribution.

Working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, you'll play a key role in meeting tight deadlines while upholding strict safety, quality, and reliability standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment to load, unload, and move freight safely
• Perform accurate picking, staging, and put-away of inbound and outbound shipments
• Inspect equipment before use, report issues, and follow preventive maintenance procedures
• Follow all safety, OSHA, and company standards for handling freight and operating equipment
• Use warehouse management systems or scanners to track inventory and orders
• Support shipping and receiving, including labeling, wrapping, and securing loads
• Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet tight shipping deadlines
• Maintain clean, organized work zones and assist with cycle counts and inventory checks
