Freight Handler

Xpedient Logistics, a Houston-based 3PL, is seeking a Freight Handler to support our Warehouse & Manufacturing operations in Transportation & Logistics. In this fast-paced, customer-focused environment, you will load, unload, and move freight, verify counts and labels, stage and palletize product, and update inventory using RF scanners while following strict safety and quality standards. You'll work closely with warehouse leads and drivers to meet tight client deadlines and service goals.

This hands-on role offers exposure to modern warehousing, fulfillment, and transportation with opportunities to grow in logistics operations and supply chain management.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move freight safely using pallet jacks and forklifts
• Verify freight counts, labels, and condition against shipping documents
• Stage, sort, and palletize freight for storage or outbound shipments
• Use RF scanners and basic systems to track and update freight status
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse work area
• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and equipment guidelines
• Work closely with warehouse leads and drivers to meet tight schedules
• Report freight damage, discrepancies, or shortages promptly
