Rate: $22.00

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Associate Lead to join our 1st Shift Outbound team in Joliet. In this leadership role, you will help oversee daily warehouse operations, support team productivity, and ensure customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced distribution environment and is committed to safety, quality, and operational excellence.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and support outbound warehouse associates in daily operations.

• Ensure the accurate receiving, processing, storage, movement, and shipment of products and materials.

• Verify quantities, product information, destinations, and shipment timelines using various source documents.

• Train and mentor team members on warehouse procedures, safety standards, and best practices.

• Operate and oversee the use of warehouse equipment, including machinery used for weighing, banding, wrapping, and packaging.

• Promote and enforce safe operation of mechanical, motorized, and electrical equipment.

• Complete and review warehouse documentation and specialized clerical tasks with accuracy.

• Monitor workflow and assist in resolving operational issues to maintain productivity goals.

• Partner with management to support continuous improvement initiatives and operational objectives.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1-3 years of warehouse, logistics, distribution, or supply chain experience.

• Prior leadership, team lead, or trainer experience preferred.

• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and material handling processes.

• Ability to read, write, and interpret work instructions, shipping documents, and operational reports.

• Basic math and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and organizational abilities.

• Experience working in a fast-paced distribution environment preferred.

• Logistics and supply chain experience is a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Requires frequent walking, carrying, reaching, standing, and stooping.

• Requires lifting/lowering, pushing, or pulling of various items of varying weight.

• Requires work from heights of up to 20 feet from floor.

• Requires work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures.
