Accountant, Financial Reporting

The Accountant role at SANY – Nutrition Group LLC is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Jonesboro, AR. The Accountant will manage day‑to‑day financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, reconciliations, and payroll support. This role prepares and analyzes financial statements, assists with budgeting and forecasting, and ensures accuracy and timeliness of monthly and annual closing processes. The Accountant will monitor compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls, while supporting audits and providing financial insights to management.

Collaboration with cross‑functional teams is expected to support cost analysis, inventory accounting, and financial reporting related to manufacturing and product lines.

• Possesses core accounting skills such as general ledger management, account reconciliation, and financial statement preparation.
• Demonstrates proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support decision‑making and cost control.
• Has experience with accounting software and ERP systems, along with strong Excel skills for reporting and data management.
• Understands tax regulations, compliance requirements, and internal control principles relevant to corporate accounting.
• Shows strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem‑solving abilities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Communicates clearly in writing and verbally, and collaborates effectively with operations, management, and external partners.
• Holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or progress toward certification is a plus.
• Brings prior experience in manufacturing, CPG, or food industry accounting; cost accounting experience is highly beneficial.
• Demonstrates integrity, reliability, and the ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly.
