The Office Manager for our Northwest Arkansas Office plays a vital role in supporting the mission of the Attorney General by ensuring efficient operations and providing direct support to legal counsel serving the region.
The Office Manager serves as the on‑site leader for the Northwest Arkansas Office. This position oversees daily operations and ensures the office operates effectively and professionally. The Office Manager also provides direct administrative and legal support to the Assistant Attorney General assigned to the location.
- Manage daily office operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Coordinate onboarding, scheduling, and training for law clerks.
- Provide administrative and legal assistant support to the Assistant Attorney General.
- Maintain office organization, supplies, and equipment, process orders and track expenditures.
- Serve as the main point of contact for facilities, IT, and maintenance needs.
- Prepare, proofread, and distribute legal correspondence and case materials.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with agency policies and record‑keeping requirements.
- Act as liaison between the Northwest Arkansas office and the Little Rock Office.
- Support outreach, community engagement, and coordination of district activities.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in administrative support or public service.
Experience: Prefer at least 3–5 years of administrative, office management, or legal support experience; government or legal background.
Skills: Proven experience in a fast‑paced, high‑level administrative role, preferably in government or legal environments; exceptional organizational and time‑management skills with strong attention to detail; strong leadership and communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint); excellent written and verbal communication skills; professional demeanor, discretion, and commitment to public service.
Work Environment: This is a full‑time, on‑site position based in the Northwest Arkansas office. Occasional travel to Little Rock may be required for meetings, training, or coordination efforts.
