Applicants must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States and with ASU‑Beebe (e.g., H1‑B, F‑1 (CPT/OPT), TN). Applicants must also have completed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

The Theatre is seeking (4) Federal Work‑Study students for 15 hours per week for the Fall 2026 & Spring 2027 terms. Students will work in one of the following areas:
Costuming Assistant, Lighting Assistant, Design Assistant, or Stage Assistant.

• Costuming Assistant
  : sort, maintain, and mend costumes; dry clean as needed; assist the Theatre Director with high‑school costume requests; maintain supplies and supply lists.
• Lighting Assistant
  : hang, aim, and focus lighting fixtures; replace lamps/lamps; assist with outside events; run lights for all shows during the academic year.
• Design Assistant
  : create artwork, design elements, programs, and tickets for shows during the 2025/2026 academic year.
• Stage Assistant
  : sweep and mop stage area; assist Director and Production Assistant in building sets; organize and move materials inside the Theatre.

• Completion of FAFSA.
• Basic sewing ability and strong organizational skills (Costuming Assistant).
• Knowledge of stage lighting and ability to hang and focus lights (Lighting Assistant).
• Art and desktop publishing skills (Design Assistant).
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and carry materials (Stage Assistant).
• Knowledge and maturity to represent ASU‑Beebe at recruiting functions.

• Experience in any of the above areas.

$11.00 per hour.

Stand, walk, sit, use hand to finger, reach, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, taste, smell. Handle up to 10 pounds; lift up to 25 pounds; up to 50 pounds; up to 100 pounds; >100 pounds.

Position requires a pre‑employment criminal and sex‑offender registry background check. Additional financial or credit history checks may be required.
