Vacancies will be filled in the following specialty areas:
Information Technology.

The following are the duties of this position at the full working level. If this vacancy includes more than one grade and you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform these duties and receive training to help you grow in this position.

Federal experience is not required. The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector or Volunteer Service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. To ensure full credit for your work experience, please indicate dates of employment by month/year, and indicate number of hours worked per week, on your resume.

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement:

• One year of specialized experience at a GS-07 level equivalent in difficulty and responsibility in the Federal Service.
• Examples of specialized experience include preparing comprehensive program analyses and evaluations, developing changes in methods and conducting studies of employee/organizational efficiency and productivity, planning, coordinating and establishing operating methods and procedures for project mission accomplishment, and providing guidance for various analytical studies to resolve substantive problems or improve effectiveness and efficiency of operating line or administrative support programs.

• Master's or equivalent graduate degree in a related field of study.
• Two full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a master's degree in a related field of study.
• L.B. or J.D., if related.
• A combination of qualifying graduate education and experience equivalent to the amount required.

• One year of specialized experience at a GS-09 level equivalent in difficulty and responsibility in the Federal Service.
• Specialized experience for this position includes preparing evaluations for a segment or phase of a broader project or study, using conventional techniques to gather, assemble, and analyze facts, drawing conclusions, and devising alternatives, preparing draft reports and other substantive guidelines and materials, recommending alternatives and/or changes in methods, processes, and techniques to improve program and administrative procedures, and performing operational reviews, program evaluations and guidelines pertaining to the effectiveness of line program operations.
  
  Additionally, making recommendations and conducting studies of employee/organizational efficiency and productivity.

• Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in a related field of study.
• Three full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in a related field of study.
• LL.M., if related.
• A combination of qualifying graduate education and experience equivalent to the amount required.

• One year of specialized experience at a GS-11 level equivalent in difficulty and responsibility in the Federal Service.
• Specialized experience for this position includes evaluative and analytical methods to identify and measure accomplishments and progress, revising methods and developing new approaches to information gathering, knowledge of project management techniques to plan, schedule, and conduct complex projects, and an understanding of budgeting methods and techniques, the ability to prepare analyses and estimates, and oral communication techniques sufficient to present findings and negotiate solutions.
