Position OverviewVeracity Electric is seeking an experienced Project Engineer Coordinator Supervisor to support and oversee the coordination of commercial electrical construction projects from project startup through closeout.
This leadership role serves as the operational bridge between Project Managers, Field Leadership, Estimating, Purchasing, Accounting, Vendors, General Contractors, and Clients to ensure projects remain organized, financially accurate, and on schedule.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities while leading project coordination efforts in a fast-paced commercial construction environment.
As a Project Engineer Coordinator Supervisor, You Will:- Coordinate multiple commercial electrical construction projects simultaneously.
- Support Project Managers throughout all phases of project execution.
- Supervise project coordination activities and establish consistent project administration standards.
- Mentor and assist Project Coordinators and administrative personnel.
- Ensure project documentation is accurate, organized, and completed on schedule.
- Assist leadership with improving project workflows and operational processes.
Maintain and manage project documentation including:
- Requests for Information (RFIs)
- Submittals
- Shop Drawings
- Change Orders
- Change Order Requests (CORs)
- Meeting Minutes
- Drawing Logs
- Specification Logs
- Project Correspondence
- Material Tracking Logs
- Procurement Logs
- Closeout Documentation
- Contracts
- Project Files
- Assist with project budgets and cost tracking.
- Support monthly cost forecasting and financial reporting.
- Create and manage purchase orders.
- Monitor project cost codes and job cost allocations.
- Track invoices and vendor billing.
- Assist with change order pricing documentation.
- Maintain accurate project financial records.
- Support billing and project reporting activities.
- Coordinate purchasing of electrical materials and equipment.
- Track long‑lead items and delivery schedules.
- Communicate with vendors regarding procurement status.
- Coordinate material deliveries with field operations.
- Resolve material shortages and procurement issues.
- Monitor rental equipment and return processes.
Maintain subcontractor and vendor documentation including:
- Contracts
- Certificates of Insurance (COIs)
- W-9 Forms
- Vendor Setup Documents
- Compliance Documentation
- Purchase Documentation
- Lien Waivers
- Partner with Project Managers, Superintendents, and Foremen.
- Coordinate field documentation requests.
- Support manpower planning and project scheduling.
- Assist with project meetings and communication.
- Visit project sites as needed to support project execution.
Coordinate closeout documentation including:
- As‑Built Drawings
- O&M Manuals
- Warranty Documentation
- Punch Lists
- Owner Turnover Packages
- Final Project Records
- 3–5 years of experience in Project Engineering, Project Coordination, Construction Administration, or related construction support roles.
- Experience supporting commercial construction projects.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
