The Interactive Teller will be responsible for providing a positive customer experience through accurate, professional, and exceptional service. The primary function will be conducting banking transactions using Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs). The employee should have knowledge of all retail products and services while focusing on customer satisfaction and retention.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Verify receipt and payouts on cash transactions, handle negotiable items, loan payments, deposits, withdrawals, and transfers. (daily)
- Set up, close, and balance teller station via ITM, including running and submitting system reports. (daily)
- Assist customers with inquiries via the video function of the ITM. (daily)
- Cross‑sell bank products and services. (daily)
- Follow limits for protection of customer accounts and bank safety. (daily)
- Adhere to bank policies and procedures. (daily)
- Scan bank documents as needed. (as needed)
- Apply holds and cashing decisions with sound judgment. (daily)
- Assist other interactive tellers with decision making within authority limits. (daily)
- Adhere to work schedule; maintain flexible availability. (daily)
- Maintain a positive, friendly, professional attitude and appearance. (daily)
- Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. (daily)
- Complete required BSA/AML and other compliance training as assigned. (daily)
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each Essential Duty satisfactorily.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEEquivalent to four years of high school or GED, with particular emphasis during high school on office skills, shop skills, or other areas, plus 19 to 23 months related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
COMMUNICATION SKILLSAbility to effectively communicate information and respond to questions in person‑to‑person and small group situations with customers, clients, the general public, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers and to perform these mathematical skills using money and other forms of measurement.
CRITICAL THINKING SKILLSAbility to use common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions, and to deal with problems involving a few known variables in routine situations.
