- Skills and proficiency in oral and written grammar, communication, and basic mathematics as acquired through official completion of high school or its equivalent.
- Experience
- Knowledge of patient care technician practices as related patient care activities and hospital policies and procedures as acquired though on-the-job training. Knowledge of basic non-technical skills as acquired through on-the-job training.
- Physical
- This is a safety sensitive position. Please see the St. Bernards Substance Abuse Policy for further information.
- Normal hospital environment. Mobility, sight, hearing, verbal communication, changes in temperature. Exposure to unpleasant elements (dust, fumes, odors, water, etc.) exposure to biological, mechanical, electrical, and chemical hazards. Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching. Lifting up to 100lbs., carrying up to 40lbs., pushing/pulling up to 350lbs.
