IT Support Specialist at Unilever Jonesboro, AR

Job Purpose

The IT and Cyber Support Specialist will manage and secure the factory's IT infrastructure and operational technology (OT) systems, ensuring seamless operation of IT services and robust cyber security to protect digital assets from threats.

• Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware and software systems.
• Manage data networks, including LAN/WAN, and ensure reliable connectivity.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for factory IT systems.
• Implement and manage OT security processes, solutions, and controls.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities.
• Develop and enforce cyber security policies and procedures in compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with IT, Information Security, Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance, Operations, Safety, and Quality Assurance teams.
• Guide and support site‑based colleagues and third‑party engineers.
• Assist in the design and deployment of security solutions for digital factory projects.
• Create and maintain detailed network diagrams and documentation.
• Conduct training sessions for staff on IT and cyber security best practices.
• Assist in planning and executing small‑scale IT and cyber security projects, monitor timelines, and coordinate with vendors.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proven experience in IT infrastructure management and cyber security.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and security technologies.
• Ability to produce technical documentation and network diagrams.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
