EHS Manager

Our client, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) professional is seeking a EHS Manager to join their team. As a EHS Manager, you will be part of the Safety and Compliance Department supporting the manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Lead and manage Environmental Health & Safety programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Oversee the company's internal EHS management system and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Develop and manage safety strategies, budgets, and training programs for staff
• Support line managers in implementing safety policies and hazard control programs
• Conduct and support accident investigations and follow-up actions to prevent future incidents

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety & Health Management or a related field with emphasis in industrial hygiene and safety management
• Minimum of 5 years of health, safety, and environmental management experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in a multi-plant setting is a plus
• Strong background in safety audits, behavioral safety, ergonomics, and industrial hygiene
• Knowledge of workers' compensation and OSHA recordkeeping requirements
