Working Team Leader - Rigid Fab

• Targets and focuses on the top three operational priorities of the company:

• Understands and adheres to the FMH Conveyors, LLC Company Handbook.
• Understands and adheres to Section Policies and Procedures.
• Must have detailed knowledge of all production processes of assigned section.
• Must have the ability to perform activities utilizing all machinery and equipment in assigned section.
• Must have the ability to examine items produced to determine if items meet specifications.
• Leads by example and works well with other team members.
• Ensures proper cross training of associates within section is being accomplished.
• Recommends measures to improve section production methods and effectiveness of section.
• Work with each associate in the section to provide the opportunity for each step progression to be met (cross training, etc.).

• Stand, walk, or be mobile for up to a 10-12-hour shift; ascend, squat, push and pull up to 100 lbs.; bend, twist and reach with hands and arms to feel objects, tools or controls, check and inspect product. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.

• EDUCATION:
  
  High School Diploma
• Understanding of ERP/MRP systems.
• Displays original thinking and creativity; meets challenges with resourcefulness; generates suggestions for improving work/processes
• Learns quickly when facing new problems; open to change; strives for continuous improvement of self and processes.
• Excellent communication (oral and written)
• Ability to perform basic math including use of whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
• Must be able to read a tape measure and read simple blue prints.
• Knowledge of production
• Experience with lean concepts and tools
• Strong analytical, administrative, and organizational skills
