Job Overview

Anchor Packaging, a Georgia Pacific company, is looking for Material Handlers at the Jonesboro, AR facility. The primary responsibility is to operate forklift and material handling equipment in the distribution center and/or manufacturing area, receiving and moving all materials and products to staging or storage areas and arranging them for proper movement when needed. Work is performed under the direction of the warehouse supervisor/manager or material handling manager.

$18.00 - $23.60

Night

Shift: 6:55pm to 7:00am
Day Shift: 6:55am to 7pm

• Moves raw materials and stock in warehouse or manufacturing facility, shipping lines, and other storage areas using forklift and material handling equipment
• Performs all system‑related transactions to ensure inventory accuracy goals
• Assists in preparing materials orders or truck orders and assists in maintaining accurate raw materials, pallets, and carton counts for the supervisor and/or manager
• Restocks raw materials and picks locations for order fulfillment
• Loads and unloads trucks
• Maintains a clean manufacturing facility and/or warehouse and forklift daily
• Performs preventative maintenance and minor repairs on material handling equipment
• Adheres to all safety procedures in the performance of job duties

• Experience operating a forklift
• Forklift certification (preferred)
• Experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing setting (preferred)
