Mobile Equipment Operator

Trinity Rail is hiring a Mobile Equipment Operator at our Jonesboro plant. Our products are an integral part of the supply chain that helps fuel our lives and our economy. As a member of the materials and distribution family at Trinity, you will perform activities related to processing, receiving, recording, storing, and/or shipping of raw materials/finished goods. Operates mobile equipment (heavy equipment, forklift, cranes, yard vehicle, lift truck) to move materials/products between warehouse/manufacturing facilities. May utilize computer software to identify materials/goods, ensure accuracy of purchase orders and maintain inventory.

What you will do:

• May operate a lift truck with over 15,000 pound capacity
• Become certified in use of Stationary Overhead Crane and/or mobile crane use
• Operate or act as ground crew for track/switch engine
• Operate a scissor lift
• Follow all safety rules and practices.
• May be involved in Safety committees or initiatives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

What you will need:

• Experience operating a 6,000 to 10,000 pound forklift system
• 1-2 years related experience
