Requirements:

• Previous experience setting up and operating punch presses, stamping presses, or similar manufacturing equipment
• Experience completing machine setups for production runs
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, work instructions, and specifications
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments, including calipers and micrometers
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Experience with tool, die, and mold setup preferred
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Commitment to following all workplace safety procedures

Job Duties:

• Set up and operate punch and stamping presses for production runs
• Complete machine changeovers and adjust equipment for production
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues to minimize downtime
• Read and follow blueprints, work instructions, and product specifications
• Use calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments to verify product quality
• Assist with tooling, die, and mold setups to maximize production efficiency
• Conduct routine equipment inspections
• Perform basic preventive maintenance
• Operate a forklift as needed to move materials and support production
• Maintain accurate production and quality records
• Follow all workplace safety procedures
• Keep the work area clean and organized
• Collaborate with team members to identify continuous-improvement opportunities
