- Adhere to all safety policies and guidelines; is accountable for their personal safety and the safety of their co-workers.
- Execute emergency procedures in response to chemical incidents, inclement weather, or other situations that threaten the safety of team members and the plant site.
- Accurately record processing information in electronic devices and on paper documents.
- Maintain a clean and organized workplace.
- Work cohesively with team members across multiple departments.
- Perform duties required to comply with SQF standards.
- Complete initial and routine safety, processing, and compliance training.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Safely utilize and operate equipment to produce and package products including the following:
- PPE
- Forklifts
- Weigh scales
- Flow meters
- Level, temperature, and pressure measuring devices
- Centrifugal and air diaphragm pumps with associated hoses and dip pipes
- Cam lock hoses and fittings
- Manual and automatic valves
- Sample valves/collection points
- Solids handling equipment
- Barcode scanning devices
- HMIs and PLCs
- Desktop/Laptop computers
- Prepare finished products for shipment with proper labels and batch documentation.
- Troubleshoot software, instrumentation, solids-handling, blending, and hydraulic systems.
- Participate in lock-out/tag-out and other safety procedures on equipment in preparation for maintenance and other activities.
