Schedule:
2nd Shift | Monday – Thursday | 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM

Education RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED preferred. Technical training or manufacturing education is beneficial.
Experience RequirementsMinimum of 5 years of tool and die repair experience preferred Experience repairing and maintaining metal stamping dies required Strong troubleshooting and mechanical repair skills Ability to operate grinders, mills, lathes, and other tool room equipment Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and precision measuring tools Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Job DutiesTroubleshoot, repair, and maintain metal stamping dies and tooling Perform preventative maintenance on dies and tooling equipment Diagnose tooling issues and reduce production downtime Fabricate, modify, and repair tooling components as needed Inspect tooling for wear, damage, and performance concerns Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications Partner with production and maintenance teams to improve tooling reliability Maintain accurate repair and maintenance records Follow all safety policies and procedures
Preferred QualificationsPrevious machine operation, manufacturing, production, or industrial experience is preferred. Experience performing machine setup, tooling changes, troubleshooting, or preventative maintenance is beneficial. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality systems, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate mechanical ability, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are well positioned for success as a Toolmaker.
Physical CapabilitiesAbility to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and work safely in a manufacturing environment.

As a Toolmaker you will operate, monitor, adjust, and maintain manufacturing equipment to produce quality products according to production schedules and established procedures. You will inspect finished products, replenish materials, identify equipment issues, perform routine machine checks, maintain production records, and support safe, efficient manufacturing operations. A Toolmaker helps produce quality products through the safe and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment.
