Job Summary
The APRN provides high-quality care to patients in the ENT clinic, supporting the diagnosis, treatment, and management of conditions related to ear, nose, and throat health. This role includes evaluating patients, performing focused exams and minor procedures, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and developing individualized treatment plans. The APRN works in close collaboration with the supervising physician and care team to deliver safe, efficient, and compassionate care.
The APRN also contributes to care coordination, documentation, and education for both patients and staff to ensure continuity and quality of care in the outpatient setting.
- Education
Graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner program with a Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the state of practice.
- Experience
The ideal candidate will have experience in an outpatient clinical setting, preferably within ENT, Clinic work environment or a related specialty. While prior ENT experience is preferred, we welcome candidates with strong clinical backgrounds, a demonstrated ability to work independently, and a commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care. Candidates should be comfortable performing common ENT assessments and procedures, managing both acute and chronic conditions, and working in collaboration with physicians and clinical staff.
Proficiency in using electronic medical records and excellent communication skills are essential. - Physical
