Job Summary
Provides prescribed medical treatment ordered by the physician, places patients in exam rooms, obtains vital signs and chief complaints, assists physicians and nurses as required, and serves as a mediator between physician and patient.
Responsibilities- Perform prescribed medical treatments as ordered.
- Place patients in exam rooms and obtain vital signs and chief complaints.
- Assist physicians and nurses.
- Serve as a mediator between physician and patient.
- Adhere to clinic policies, procedures, practices, techniques, and equipment.
- Maintain clear spoken and written communication over the telephone.
- Associate’s degree from an accredited two‑year college or university.
- Experience obtained through clinic orientation (knowledge of clinic policies, procedures, and equipment).
- Keyboarding skills required;
Windows skills preferred. - Ability to speak and hear clearly and effectively over the telephone.

The employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of radiation. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet. This job requires working under stress during emergency situations.
