Job Summary

Provides prescribed medical treatment ordered by the physician, places patients in exam rooms, obtains vital signs and chief complaints, assists physicians and nurses as required, and serves as a mediator between physician and patient.

• Place patients in exam rooms and obtain vital signs and chief complaints.
• Assist physicians and nurses.
• Serve as a mediator between physician and patient.
• Adhere to clinic policies, procedures, practices, techniques, and equipment.
• Maintain clear spoken and written communication over the telephone.

• Associate’s degree from an accredited two‑year college or university.
• Experience obtained through clinic orientation (knowledge of clinic policies, procedures, and equipment).
• Keyboarding skills required;
  Windows skills preferred.
• Ability to speak and hear clearly and effectively over the telephone.
