JOSM is currently seeking qualified applicants for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position in our fast‑paced orthopedic clinic. We are looking for a motivated, dependable individual who thrives in a team‑oriented clinical environment and is committed to providing excellent patient care.

• Graduate of a School of Practical Nursing.
• Current licensure as a Practical Nurse in the state of Arkansas.
• Must also possess a high school diploma, associate’s, or higher degree level.

• Assisting physicians during clinic visits and patient examinations.
• Answering and triaging patient phone calls.
• Fulfilling physician verbal orders accurately and efficiently.
• Completing and maintaining clinical paperwork and documentation.
• Applying and removing casts and braces.
• Preparing patients and exam rooms for in‑office procedures.
• Performing phlebotomy and collecting laboratory specimens as needed.
• Coding diagnoses and assisting with clinical charting.
• Providing patient education regarding treatment plans, medications, and follow‑up care.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of clinical areas.
• Assisting with other clinical duties as assigned.
• Previous orthopedic experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Team‑oriented attitude with a strong focus on patient care.

• Normal clinic environment. Exposure to biological hazards. Close eye work. Hearing of normal and soft tones. Distinguishing smells and temperatures by touch and proximity.
• Frequent exposure to fumes, odors and water.
• Lifting up to 100 lbs., carrying up to 40 lbs., pushing/pulling up to 350 lbs.
• Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping and reaching, including occasional stress related to patient load.
