The Specialty Registered Nurse is responsible for patient preparation and assisting the physician with procedures and minor surgeries. The RN performs diagnostic tests, patient education in the clinic, maintains equipment, and acts as liaison between the physician and outside agencies including hospitals, nursing homes, DME companies, pharmacies, HMO’s, and other physicians’ offices, as well as the patient. The nurse also supports other medical staff members as necessary to maintain patient flow.
Minimum Requirements- Current RN license in good standing (either AR license or multi-state license that includes AR) is required
- CPR certification required
- High school diploma or GED equivalent if working in the lab
- Previous clinical experience preferred
This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
