Instructor of Nursing

Full‑time (12‑month) faculty member in the Nursing program on the ASU‑Searcy campus. Responsible for teaching all phases of the Practical Nursing and Registered Nursing Programs, supervising clinical practice, mentoring adjunct instructors, and contributing to health courses, evening/weekend activities, and curriculum development.

• Prepare and review assigned lesson plans
• Deliver instruction to students
• Administer and grade tests and assignments
• Supervise students during clinical education
• Collaborate with supervisor on teaching materials and clinical assignments
• Order necessary supplies for instruction
• Assist students with invasive procedures performed on clients at clinical sites
• Participate in faculty and department meetings, division meetings, and advisory meetings
• Travel to other ASU‑Beebe campuses and clinical sites as required

• Registered Nurse with an unencumbered license in Arkansas
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends
• Valid U.S. work authorization not requiring future visa sponsorship (e.g., H1‑B, F‑1 CPT/OPT, TN)

• Minimum salary $55,233 plus $8,000 year‑one stipend

• Up to 10 pounds regularly

Position requires a pre‑employment criminal background check and may include a credit history/background check. Sealed convictions and dismissed misdemeanors will be excluded.
