Job Summary

In the Direct Sales Representative role, you will be part of one of the most dynamic sales departments in the company. As a valued member of the Optimum door-to-door team, you will work in the ever-changing consumer landscape. Every day will be different, every interaction will be unique, and you will have the opportunity to provide our valued customers with a memorable experience, guiding them through our full suite of Optimum products and services, such as high-speed internet, advanced TV, mobile, and voice technologies, ensuring that their solution best fits their needs.

Responsibilities
  • Customized Solutions: Be a telecom wizard! Dive into the unique needs of each customer, crafting tailored telecom packages that meet their satisfaction.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up to date with the latest offerings, pricing plans, and technological advances. You're the walking encyclopedia of telecom goodness!
  • Sales Pitch: Master the field sales process. Showcase the advantages of our products and services, addressing customer concerns and objections.
  • Closing Deals: Negotiate and close sales agreements, ensuring customers are thrilled and committed.
  • Documentation: Complete all paperwork, contracts, and sales reports with precision to ensure smooth operations.

Minimum Qualifications and

Essential Functions:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Proficient computer and technical skills to support customer solutions.
  • Reliable personal vehicle (where applicable), valid driver license, car insurance, and satisfactory driving record.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license in good standing within the state of residence.
  • Physical ability to work in environments requiring sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Ability to work full time.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual preferred to support diverse employee and customer populations.
  • Sales-centric mindset: Passion for delivering exceptional results by achieving targets; strong empathy and ability to tailor solutions.
  • Extensive product knowledge: Deep understanding of mobile and fixed-line offerings; able to translate technical information for customers.
