JOB DESCRIPTION:

SALES DIRECTOR

POSITION

REPORTS TO:

Chief Executive Officer

As Sales Director, you will be responsible for the revenue and profit objectives for the company. You will adequately build, organize and develop a sales team with the overall target to ensure Tiger Correctional Services’ financial growth. You will, in close collaboration with the CEO and Directors, grow the revenue and profit by defining, selling and delivering expert service engagements.

JOB DUTIES

Responsible for the over-all sales results for the Company

Establish and implement a sales strategy to increase revenue and profit for the company

Work closely with Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Commissary & Food Service Departments to establish competitive pricing for services & products provided by the Company

Reviews sales reports/activities/results from Territory Sales Managers & coach them on ways to improve results. Provide results & reports to the CEO quarterly

Closely coordinate with the Marketing Director to identify and develop advertising and promotional plans

Create incentive programs to support sales growth

Provide on-site support during outside sales calls as needed

Leadership

Lead a team of Territory Sales Managers including developing, coaching and improving competencies of sales skills and product knowledge

Support and act as a role model in utilization of Hub Spot (CRM software)

Collaborate with the Director-level Team to create a strategic plan to support annual budget, sales projections & customer growth

Advise members of the Director-level Team of service & product issues the Sales Team is made aware of during sales calls & provides input for resolution to retain existing customers

Assist with creating the annual budget for the Sales Department

Responsible for all expenses within the Sales Department and meeting budget

Update existing and create new sales policies as needed

Work closely with the Marketing Director to maintain updated sales demonstration materials & programs

Customer Service

Maintains contact & strong business relationships with Correctional personnel (Sheriff, Warden & Jail Administration).

Attends trade shows & conferences as needed

Staffing

Responsible for interviewing & hiring new Sales Team personnel as needed

Responsible for administrative duties involving employee matters such as time-off requests and schedules

Performs other duties as assigned or required

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/CERTIFICAITON:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Sales, Marketing or Business

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
Five years demonstrated experience in direct sales

EXPERIENCE:

Two years demonstrated experience in a leadership role including planning & delivering training programs

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Basic understanding of Microsoft products including Word, PowerPoint & Excel programs, internet & email

Ability to explain computer software guides to customers. Basic understanding of Tiger Correctional Services software

Excellent presentation skills including computer demonstrations. Able to speak in front of large groups

Ability to develop training programs to meet internal & external customer needs

Excellent customer service, problem solving and conflict resolution skills

Ability to drive a motor vehicle

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions and deal with problems involving many variables

Must be able to hear & receive normal conversations and information

Must have average visual abilities necessary to read a computer screen

Must be able to solve basic math problems including adding, subtraction, multiplication and division

Must be able to communicate with an advance vocabulary of 8000 to 10,000 words, to read at a moderate rate, write basic sentences and communicate in standard sentences with excellent vocabulary
