Technician, Refrigeration​/HVAC

Position Summary

Walmart Supercenter #128, 1911 W Parker Rd, Jonesboro, AR . We are hiring a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support the maintenance and repair of Walmart facility refrigeration and HVAC equipment. This position requires on‑site work and may involve emergency response.

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility refrigeration and HVAC equipment using commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills.
• Use hand tools, power tools, digital tools, and other equipment to complete repair jobs.
• Receive repair work orders through the work‑order management system and document repair activities.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, test facilities, equipment, and fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete required safety and training requirements for equipment and tools.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations and follow Walmart refrigeration HVAC safety policy.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, work on ladders, and work comfortably at heights frequently.

• At least 2 years of commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance experience.
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR.
• Minimum age 18 and high school diploma or equivalent.

• Large‑scale rack refrigeration experience.
• Mechanical license in the city or state where the job is located.
• Completion of a 2‑year vocational or technical HVAC/R program.

• Base hourly rate of $23.00–$45.00, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
• Additional premium compensation ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour for certain schedules or specific work.
