The purpose of the position is to perform, at the sub-journeyman level, the maintenance, repair, and construction of park trails. This role requires frequent overnight backcountry stays, with duties performed at a site away from park headquarters.
Major Duties- Use hand tools and other equipment to repair trail tread.
- Operate motor vehicles and associated equipment.
- Perform carpentry repairs using simple measurements and hand tools.
- Operate chainsaw for limbing, bucking down trees, and clearing trails.
Duty station is located in Marble Falls, Arkansas. Housing may be available at the duty station.
