This position reports to:
Production Supervisor
The work model for the role is:
Onsite, Jonesboro, Arkansas
This position works 10 hour shifts Monday - Thursday, with OT as needed to meet customer demand.
This is a Safety Sensitive position under the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Amendment of 2016.
YourRole and Responsibilities:
- Ability to install electrical wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment such as robots, conveyors and programmable controllers.
- Ability to diagnose and repair malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, lighting fixtures, etc.
- Diagnose and repair faulty electronic components, such as printed circuit boards.
- Ability to diagnose and repair faulty mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components of machines and equipment.
- Ability to plan layout of wiring and install wiring, conduit and electrical apparatus in the building.
- Ability to weld and fabricate.
- Knowledge of boilers and chillers.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 4 years of mechanical experience or a state license, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- One year certificate from college or technical school and/or a state license.
- Safety conscious, 5S driven, and recommends safety corrections immediately.
- Produces excellent quality work.
- Engaged to meet production goals regularly.
- Participates in team initiatives yet self-motivated.
