Mechanics are responsible for repairing and maintaining diesel engines on heavy trucks according to industry standards and factory specifications, as well as assisting with concrete plant repairs. • Inspect equipment for mechanical defects and safety issues and participate in the approval of those projects
• Perform repairs using proper tools and techniques
• Troubleshoot issues further if necessary
• Document work performed onsite and submit progress reports
• Ensure on-time deliveries of work completed
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations at all times
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
• Work overtime when required, ensuring work is completed on time
• Comply with all company policies and procedures

• 2+ years’ experience as heavy/medium diesel truck technician
• Ability to travel to other locations to assist with truck/plant repair
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
• Manual dexterity and good judgement
• Ability to operate power and hand tools and other equipment safely
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.; maneuver in/out and around/under trucks
