Data Clerk- Homeless Education

Starting Date: Immediately

Responsible for managing all records for homeless students in Infinite Campus.

This position reports to the COORDINATOR OF HOMELESS EDUCATION. THIS IS A FEDERAL GRANT FUNDED POSITION.

• Receives, organizes, and accurately uploads documents into student records and completes updates to homeless status in Infinite Campus.
• Maintains various logs, reports, and data to track the identification of homeless student enrollment for state reporting.
• Facilitates the submission of requests and works with schools to provide completed records for homeless students.
• Serves as receptionist for Homeless Education Department.
• Maintains inventory records for Homeless Education Department.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two (2) years of experience in an office/clerical environment and proficiency with Infinite Campus required.
• Makes recommendations to improve data processing in the Homeless Education Department. The ability to work independently.
• Moderate level of judgment required.
• Requires regular, frequent contact with employees of all levels of the organization. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
• Occasional contact with external personnel. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
• Microsoft Office and Infinite Campus are required. Tyler Munis is preferred.
• May require travel to off-site training locations and school site visits.

NOTE:
This is a grade 17, 225 day position that pays for experience up to a Step 4.

Position Type: FULL TIME

Salary: $31,388 to $33,970 Per Year
