CGS is seeking a dedicated Discovery Database Administrator to join a fast-paced team to assist with legal accounts. As a Discovery Database Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting various aspects of the company's portfolio.

Responsibilities- The Contractor shall provide database administration support, including but not limited to: setting up security, creating tables, indexes, stored procedures, designing SQL reports, and creating maintenance jobs. Apply best practices for optimizing databases.
- Assist in creating and maintaining databases in a clustered server environment. Design, develop, and maintain various data models and their components.
- Apply working knowledge of data lakes, data warehouse and data mart architectures, metadata and data modeling, data flow, entity relationship diagrams, schema architectures and query languages to integrate solutions within legacy infrastructure.
- Mirror database servers, implement log shipping, and employ up-to-date techniques for database redundancy and high availability, including full backup and recovery for Microsoft SQL Server 2019 and 2022.
- Facilitate migration of systems to cloud infrastructure.
- Upgrade SQL Servers to the latest version (2019 and up) and create reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
- Set up a reporting server and perform all DBA functions and report development in alignment with Software Systems Development Architecture and Design.
- Experience administering Microsoft SQL Server 2019 and 2022, including security, maintenance, reports, and optimization.
- Strong knowledge of database design, data models, and data integration in data lakes, data warehouses, and data marts.
- Hands-on experience with data replication, disaster recovery, and cloud migrations.
- Familiarity with SSRS and reporting server setup.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced government contracting environment and collaborate across teams.
