Contact Government Services is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Director of eDiscovery for one of our large government projects. This role will lead an electronic discovery team within the Government and support professionals in all aspects of litigation support and e‑discovery processes, including project management, ESI intake, data analysis, early case assessment, document production, and liaison with third‑party vendors.
Key Responsibilities- Perform administrative functions associated with the day‑to‑day use of litigation support software eDiscovery databases (e.g., database creation, maintenance, importing images/data/transcripts, searching/exporting data, document scanning, OCR, coding, etc.).
- Process and publish electronically stored information for cases.
- Assist in preparation of documents and exhibits for trial.
- Receive and log incoming media; maintain chain of custody and related tracking documentation.
- Contribute to internal process development and prepare workflows/documentation.
- Work overtime hours as needed, including nights/weekends on a per‑project/case basis.
- Problem‑solve and troubleshoot technical issues within the eDiscovery platform.
- Maintain current knowledge of discovery industry best practices and regulations; pursue training and certification as required.
- Build relationships with eDiscovery vendors and maintain ongoing vendor relationships.
- Collaborate directly with General Counsel, attorneys, law clerks, and legal assistants as part of the matter team.
- Fast‑learn new eDiscovery review platforms.
- Understanding of the litigation lifecycle and electronic discovery/document review processes.
- 7+ years of experience in litigation support, electronic discovery, and/or technology support, preferably in the government; law firm or top eDiscovery vendor experience acceptable.
- Experience performing Administrator and Case Manager functions in Relativity.
- Experience providing end‑user support and training on Litigation Support applications.
- Proficiency with Relativity, Nuix, Concordance, IPRO, and other applicable eDiscovery platforms.
- US citizen with ability to obtain a favorably adjudicated Public Trust Clearance.
- Relativity Certified Administrator Certification.
