Pipefitter Helper – Jonesboro, GA

Archer Western, a member of The Walsh Group, is seeking a Pipefitter Helper for the WEGA/WB Casey WWRF Biosolids project in Jonesboro, GA.

• Assembles and installs piping and tubing systems that conduct water, steam, air, or other fluids, solids, or gases in and around buildings and structures.
• Installs vacuum piping systems, drainage, and sewage lines (laterals) from buildings to the point of attachment.
• Handles and moves materials and equipment used by plumbers, pipe fitters, and steamfitters.

• 2‑5 years of verifiable experience (preferred).
• Experience working with piping systems and fixtures; adequate knowledge of lengths and construction measurements for use of tools and machinery.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and may be required to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; effective communication with co‑workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly.
• Strong work ethic and desire to learn.
• Good manual dexterity; may be required standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods.
• Must be able to pass a pre‑employment drug screening.
