The Shelter Resident Transition (SRT) Service Associate is an operational role in disaster relief, assigned temporarily to DROs at level 4 and above. SRT Caseworkers work with shelter residents to map resources and identify roadblocks, helping households craft an individualized action plan to move from shelter to sustainable living.
This position advances the American Red Cross mission by shortening displacement time and jump starting longer-term recovery for those affected by disasters.
