Responsibilities
- High volume of data extraction/review/analysis to assist in processing weekly payroll for the company.
- Data extraction/entry for weekly operational reports.
- Provide verbal and/or correspondence assistance to internal leadership and subcontractors/vendors to resolve discrepancies or inadequacies in their submitted payroll.
- Validation of employee time, review of processed files for accuracy, and corrections as needed.
- Perform other related activities and duties as assigned.
- Experience with using excel (exposure to Tables/Pivot Tables highly preferred)
- Strong, detail-oriented work ethic a must. Self-starter with a well-honed sense of urgency and the ability to regularly meet deadlines
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction payroll preferred
- JD Edwards experience is a plus
- Understanding of entry level accounting.
- Knowledge of wage labor laws and union labor compliance is a plus
