• Communicate with callers verbally and respond to online inquiries in writing.
• Provide case status updates as requested and accurately document a variety of information provided in the calls or online submissions.
• Accurately analyze situations, take appropriate follow-up actions, and multitask by handling various assignments and meeting required deadlines.
• Maintain strong interpersonal skills and communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Minimum qualifications as specified in the Staff Services Analyst or Associate Governmental Program Analyst classification specification.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Excel.
• Knowledge of the Medi-Cal Program, insurance claims, and/or medical billing or records.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Good time management and multitasking skills.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative team.
• Ability to follow applicable procedures, policies, and statutes.
• Positive attitude with an eagerness to learn.
• Excellent customer service skills.
