Contegra Construction is looking for an experienced Construction Project Superintenden
t to lead field operations on complex commercial, industrial, manufacturing, distribution, and design-build construction projects.

This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who takes pride in building the right way — safely, efficiently, and with a strong commitment to quality. As the Superintendent, you will be the primary field leader responsible for coordinating daily jobsite activity, managing subcontractors, driving schedule performance, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring every phase of construction meets Contegra’s expectations.

• Lead all on‑site construction activities from mobilization through project close out.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, field personnel, and project stakeholders.
• Maintain daily, weekly, and short‑interval work plans to keep projects on schedule.
• Monitor project progress and resolve field issues before they impact delivery.
• Lead jobsite safety efforts and promote a strong culture of safety.
• Ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, contract requirements, and company quality standards.
• Manage site logistics, deliveries, equipment utilization, material staging, inspections, testing, commissioning, and turnover.
• Conduct project walks to monitor productivity, quality, safety, and overall jobsite performance.
• Lead daily huddles, subcontractor coordination meetings, planning meetings, and project startup meetings.
• Mentor Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, and other field team members.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers, design consultants, owners, and subcontractors to achieve project goals.

• The ideal candidate will bring strong field leadership, sound construction judgment, and the ability to manage multiple moving parts in a fast‑paced environment.
• Qualifications include:7+ years of progressive field experience in construction.
• 3+ years of experience as a Lead Superintendent, Superintendent, or similar field leadership role.
• Experience with commercial, industrial, manufacturing, distribution, or other complex construction projects.
• Design‑build experience preferred.
  
  Strong understanding of construction means, methods, sequencing, field operations, and safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, shop drawings, and contract documents.
• Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and work activities simultaneously.
• Strong communication, organization, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Proficiency with construction management software, including Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.

This position is primarily project site‑based and requires regular movement throughout active construction sites. Travel, extended hours, and occasional weekend work may be required based on project needs.
