The Multimedia Marketing Specialist produces high-quality video, photography, and digital assets to advance the college’s branding, student recruitment, fundraising, and public communications efforts. The ideal candidate turns raw footage and imagery into engaging content for web platforms, advertising, social media and print publications that align with the strategic brand, marketing, and communication goals of the university. This hands‑on role documents campus life, academic programs, and student/alumni success stories.
Candidates with knowledge of technical production skills, including lighting, rigging, and production methodologies, will be considered highly qualified.
Content Creation: Shoot and professionally edit original video, photography, audio, and graphic assets for daily use across digital channels in mixed environments.
Visual Story Telling: Produce short-form video content tailored to a variety of digital platforms catered to university stakeholders as well as premium photography for core university print materials such as Crossroads Alumni Magazine.
Campaign Support: Collaborate with marketing teams across campus to design promotional materials, digital ads, and graphics for marketing, recruitment, and fundraising campaigns.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partners with diverse internal departments and externals media teams to support execution of multimedia projects that align with university strategic communication goals. Ability to clearly communicate ideas and concepts with supervisors in a concise manner.
Asset, Equipment, and Project Management: Organize, label, and maintain the university’s digital media asset library and archives. Ability to uphold rigorous quality standards for finished projects and products. Ability to recommend equipment for purchasing and maintain inventory and custody of all university owned equipment with respect to budget and purchasing requirements.
Event Coverage: Schedules and/or provides photo, video, and occasional audio visual or live stream support for high-priority campus events, celebrations, and ceremonies. This will include non-traditional work hours and locations.
Brand and Visual Standards Compliance: Ensures all visual content adheres to institutional brand policy and guidelines, copyright laws, accessibility standards, and established visual communication procedures.
Education, Experience, and LicensesA bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism, film, communication, marketing, or a related field as well as a minimum of three years of experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is preferred.
Working knowledge of marketing, film production, photography, and media techniques is preferred.
Valid Driver's License and the ability to meet insurance requirements for driving university provided vehicles.

Ability to use professional-grade photo, video, and audio production equipment, specifically Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Canon Cameras (C100, 5
DMKII/III, XA10).
Ability to correctly sync, color correct/grade, edit and produce high-quality audio and video productions.
Ability to create custom motion graphics or edit motion graphic templates for use in productions.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical manuals.
