Guest Service Representative

Holiday Inn Express is currently looking for a full‑time Front Desk Agent.

• The Front Desk is often the first point of contact and first impression for guests.
• Warm, knowledgeable service and helpful guidance reassure guests they’ve made the right choice.

• Register guests and assign rooms.
• Check in/out guests.
• Accommodate special requests whenever possible.
• Understand and adhere to proper credit and cash handling policies and procedures.
• Take same‑day reservations and future reservations when necessary.
• Use front office equipment.
• Use proper telephone etiquette.
• Maintain the cleanliness and neatness of the front desk area.
• Be available for all shifts, including weekends when scheduled, and provide friendly, customer‑focused service.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Additional language skills are preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills essential when interacting with guests and employees.
• Reading and writing abilities used often when completing paperwork, logging issues, complaints, requests, information updates, etc.
• Basic math skills used frequently when handling cash or credit.
• Problem‑solving, reasoning, motivating, and training abilities often used.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
