Order Desk Clerk

Summary:

This position answers customer questions pertaining to their orders and/or processes and tracks orders for customers.

• Answers incoming customer calls, providing them with information about their orders.
• Reviews and processed conflicted orders using dashboard and reporting software.
• Provides feedback to customers regarding their orders, assisting them as needed.
• Verifies customer and order information for accuracy, making changes as needed.
• Informs customers of any order information requested, such as shipping dates/delays.
• Enters customer/order info on order forms.
• Prepares invoices, shipping documents, and costs.
• Checks inventory records to determine product availability.
• Collects payment for merchandise, records transactions & send items for processing.
• Provides 2nd mile customer service duties with a positive attitude.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• High School diploma, or GED equivalent needed.
• Previous customer service experience in an office or sales setting a plus.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficient with MS Office, especially Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Proficient in grammar and spelling areas.
• Possess excellent attendance record.
• Should possess and maintain a positive attitude and calm demeanor.

Must pass pre-employment drug screen, including testing for THC/Marijuana use.

Mon-Fri, Day Shift, 8am – 5pm

Job will include periods of standing, walking, reaching, stooping/kneeling, and bending. Stair climbing and walking on uneven surfaces will also be present. Long periods of sitting and computer screen viewing will be required. Constant use of hand/arms due to computer data entry duties.
