Clinical Details
• Primarily medical oncology and hematology patient mix
• Approximate split of hematology versus medical oncology is 40/60
• Clinic consults and follow-ups with possible bone marrow procedures
• Night call census averages 1-2 patients
• Weeknight and weekend call is primarily phone with occasional rounding
• No acute leukemia or malignant hematology
• Hospitalist admits new patients
• Clinic staffed by two full-time physicians and two full-time APPs
Requirements
• Board certified or board eligible hematology/oncology physician
• No specific state license required to bid
• ACLS, ATLS, and BLS required
• Ability to supervise advanced practice providers
• Preference for providers able to perform bone marrow biopsy
• Must meet credentialing timeline of approximately 90 days
• Minimum availability of two weeks per month required
