The KCU Barista works at one of the beautiful, on-campus coffee shops, providing excellent customer service to KCU students,faculty and staff.
Essential Duties- Greeting customers in a friendly manner and taking food anddrink orders
- Preparing and serving beverages, ranging from simple tocomplex
- Answering customers' questions about menu choices
- Promoting and recommending menu options to customers
- Taking payment and operating point-of-sale system
- Maintaining inventory and equipment by cleaning,troubleshooting and scheduling repairs
- Keeping the work environment sanitary and organized
- Evaluating and modifying processes to improve efficiency and quality of service
- Previous barista experience strongly preferred
- Excellent customer service
- Professional, friendly, and outgoing personality
