The City of Joplin, MO seeks a wastewater plant operator under general supervision to operate, maintain, and repair treatment facilities.
You will collect samples, test effluent pH and solids, log results, monitor SCADA, and perform preventive maintenance on pumps and controls.
Requirements: high school diploma or GED; two years' facility experience preferred; valid Missouri driver’s license;
Missouri Class D Wastewater Operator’s Certificate within six months of appointment.
