ABOUT THE POSITION
As a Manufacturing Engineering Intern with Eagle Picher Technologies, you will join the Manufacturing Engineering Team as a key contributor in the development and/or modification of Manufacturing Processes, Documentation, Tooling, and Fixturing.
ResponsibilitiesThe core responsibilities of this position are:
- Observe manufacturing processes and update existing documentation ensuring work instructions are accurate and up to date.
- Review tool and fixture design to increase productivity and/or reduce defect rates.
- Develop validation plans, execute validation plans, and write validation reports.
- Perform time studies and create reports for analysis.
- Work with engineering and drafting teams to create or revise controlled documentation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Degree or pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or other related Engineering fields.
- U.S. Persons.
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft products including Word and Excel. Project and PowerPoint would be beneficial.
- Preferred experience with Solid Works or Autodesk Inventor 3D modeling software.
