The Role

A customer-facing quality engineering role responsible for driving data-driven quality metrics, ensuring compliance with AS9100 QMS requirements, and serving as the primary quality point of contact for customer inquiries and issue resolution in a defense/aerospace manufacturing environment.

What You'll Be Doing

* Evaluate and incorporate customer flow-down requirements into internal manufacturing processes

* Establish and monitor KPIs; implement mitigation actions for negative trends

* Generate First Article Inspection Reports per AS-9102 requirements

* Facilitate MRB and FRB functions and publish periodic customer quality status reports

* Support proposal and contract review functions

* Drive preventive and corrective actions for non-compliances

What We Need

* U.S. Citizenship required

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Business, or related field

* Experience with in an AS9100 Quality Management System organization

* Drawing interpretation and GD&T principles knowledge

* Strong root cause analysis skills and auditing experience a plus

* Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
