Aboutthe Position
The Financial Analyst will provide direct support for our government compliance reporting, financial reporting and certain accounting efforts as assigned by the Director of FP&A. These responsibilities primarily include preparation of government financial reports, incurred cost submissions, cost‑plus invoicing, indirect rate calculations and compliance with applicable federal regulations, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS). In addition, the role includes financial analysis, annual planning, preparing reports, and assisting with close processes.
Responsibilities- Prepare the annual incurred cost submission to the government
- Prepare quarterly indirect rate calculations and submission of provisional billing rates if applicable
- Customer invoicing for cost‑plus programs
- Monthly accounting close analysis for cost‑plus programs
- Financial analysis reporting for overhead and SG&A spend
- Labor analysis
- Customer Order and invoicing analysis and reporting
- Other duties as assigned
- U.S. Persons
- BS in Finance and/or Accounting
- 3‑5+ years’ experience as a Financial Analyst or Accountant
- Government accounting and reporting
- FAR and CAS experience
- Strong PC and analytical skills
- Strong proficiency in Excel
- Integrated ERP system experience a plus
- Strong problem‑solving skills
- Strong organization and communication skills with ability to communicate with all levels inside and outside the organization
- Highly financially literate
- Superior attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively under tight time constraints, and multi‑task on various projects
- Familiar with, or can quickly become familiar with, the company’s operations and strategy
- Takes a proactive approach, is energetic and works with a sense of urgency
- Develops effective working relationships with all levels, functions, and operations of the company
