Treasury Analyst

The Treasury Analyst will support daily client treasury and payment operations, with a primary focus on payment processing, cash management, and transaction reconciliation. This role is responsible for monitoring payment activity, ensuring timely and accurate processing of domestic and international transactions, resolving payment exceptions, and maintaining strong controls over account balances and cash movement. The ideal candidate may collaborate with Treasury, Operations, Product and Development and internal business teams to optimize payment processes and ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and banking requirements.

• Monitor and process daily payment transactions, including ACH, wires, and checks.
• Reconcile bank activity, payment files, and cash movements; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage payment exceptions, returns, rejects, and failed transactions in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with third party vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve payment issues, where applicable.
• Support daily cash positioning and liquidity reporting related to payment activity.
• Maintain payment controls, approval workflows, and segregation-of-duties requirements.
• Assist with payment forecasting, bank account administration, and treasury reporting.
• Identify opportunities to automate and improve payment-processing workflows.
• Prepare operational and management reports related to payment volumes, cash activity, and exceptions.
• Ensure payment activities comply with internal controls, payment regulations, banking requirements, and other applicable regulations.
• Perform other duties, work on various projects, and support ad hoc reporting.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in Treasury (ideally client focused), payment operations, cash management, banking, or a related function.
• Strong understanding of payment methods, banking processes, and cash reconciliation.
• Experience with ERP and treasury management systems preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical/problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage time-sensitive transactions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across multiple teams.

• Experience with high-volume payment processing or payment operations, preferably on behalf of clients.
• Familiarity with ACH, domestic/international wires, SWIFT, and payment file formats.
• Experience with treasury management systems, ERP platforms, or banking portals.
• Knowledge of payment automation, fraud prevention, and treasury controls.
