Scale Operator

About the Role

You will provide an outstanding customer experience by meeting the customer’s needs and demonstrating technical competence.

• Ensure customer satisfaction by prompt attention assisting or directing customers to the appropriate areas to meet their needs. Ability to complete inter‑company feed orders, and inventory transfers and purchases, if applicable.
• Act as a resource for other employees on operational procedures for scale/receiving area.
• Understand how to document and submit customer interactions in CRM (Customer Relationship Management System).
• Assist with inventory control of products offered at the location.
• Maintain inventory of office supplies.
• Working knowledge of Landus inventory policies.
• Perform operations for incoming/outgoing scale traffic in accordance to established procedures (weighing, sampling, grading and ticketing).
• Ability to run grain or agronomy facilities remotely utilizing PLCs.
• Ensure that the work area is kept clean and organized. Update the market board as needed.
• Develop ongoing general awareness of Landus Cooperative’s products/services and be able to communicate information to customers.
• Adhere to Landus Cooperative’s safety policies and procedures.
• Champion of safety compliance throughout organization.

• Must have a valid state driver’s license.
• Must be able to move/lift up to 50 pounds.
• One year of related experience.
