Joplin Schools is seeking an individual possessing a unique combination of attributes, including high‑level technology skills and strong interpersonal abilities.
Qualifications- One (1) year of experience in technology;
- Training experience and Certifications in Systems or Networkinga plus.
- Supports the mission of Joplin Schools.

- Safeguards confidential and/or sensitive information.
- Communicates effectively with all the members of the school district and community.
- Provides excellence in customer service both internally and externally.
- Reacts to change productively.
- Keeps abreast of new information, innovative ideas and techniques.
- Maintains accurate records and filing systems for accountability and audit purposes.
- Ensures that all activities conform to district and state guidelines.
- Familiarity with Apple OS and Windows OS environments.
- Diagnose and repair hardware/software problems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficient in Gmail, Google Drive, and Google app suites.
- Proficient in audio/visual presentation systems.
- Provide training and support for instructional and administrative technology use.
- Assist in network connectivity problems.
- Provide multimedia set up for special events.
- Facilitate repairs with 3rd party vendors and monitor warranty on parts (i.e., Dell, Lenovo, etc).
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate with customers with different proficiency levels in technology.
- Ability to work cooperatively with other team members, department members, and district staff.
- Carry out all other duties as assigned.
The individual who holds this position is regularly required to walk, hear, and speak and must have close moderate and distance vision ability. The individual must be able to travel between district facilities. The position requires a moderate amount of travel, both in and out of the district.
AttendanceRegular and consistent attendance is an essential function of this position.
